Prof. Dr. Somrerk Chandra-ambhorn, Vice President for Research and Information Technology Development, was invited to serve as a Program Committee Member for the prestigious International Conference on Precision Engineering 2024, held from 20 – 26 October 2024, at Tohoku University in Japan. Additionally, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supat Ieamsupapong, a faculty member from KMUTNB’s Thai-French Innovation Institute (TFII), presented his research paper at the event.

During the conference, KMUTNB delegates engaged in productive discussions with Tohoku University faculty and researchers, exploring potential collaborative opportunities in the fields of metallurgy and corrosion. Tohoku University, ranked as Japan’s leading institution and recognized as the top university globally in Metallurgical Engineering by EduRank, which is one among the fields of focus of Thai-French Innovation Institute (TFII).
