On 24 September 2026, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) welcomed Prof. Xavier BALANDRAUD and Ms. Myriam REVERET from SIGMA-Clermont Engineering School, Université Clermont Auvergne, France, for a visit aimed at strengthening academic collaboration and exploring new opportunities for future cooperation. The visit also provided an opportunity for KMUTNB and SIGMA-Clermont to discuss potential areas for future collaboration and explore ways to further develop academic and student mobility opportunities.

The French delegates were warmly welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, and the university’s executives, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Amornphun Phunopas, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, Faculty of Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Aran Blattler, Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Corporate Communications, Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Burin Yodwong, Assistant Director for Administration and International Affairs, Thai-French Innovation Institute, and Asst.Prof. Dr. Nopparat Seemuang, Head of the Department of Production Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.

Over decades, the Faculty of Engineering and the Thai-French Innovation Institute (TFII) have played an important role in fostering and expanding academic connections between KMUTNB and its French partners, providing opportunities for students and academics to engage in international learning, professional experience, and knowledge exchange. KMUTNB looks forward to building upon its existing relationship with French institutions and creating new opportunities that will further strengthen academic connections between Thailand and France.
