KMUTNB’s and Riga Technical University’s Virtual Meeting on Academic Cooperation

On 5 October 2022, the team of KMUTNB’s executive and the Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS) led by Ms. Sikan Kulchonchan, Vice President for International Affairs, had a virtual meeting with the team of Riga Technical University, Latvia, represented by Prof. Igors Tipāns, Deputy Rector for International Cooperation and Studies, Ms. Zane Purlaura, Deputy Director of International Cooperation and Foreign Students Department, and Ms. Laura Stale, Head of International Cooperation Unit. Also, the KMUTNB’s delegates represented in the meeting were Prof. Nisai Fuengwarodsakul, Dean of TGGS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tawiwan Kangsadan, TGGS Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Management, and Ms. Phimvalanch Moosikaphan, Director of International Cooperation Centre. The meeting discussed about the potential areas of academic activities that both parties are interested to initiate the academic cooperation. The outcomes of the meeting are very fruitful, and certain cooperative activities were agreed to carry out together. Both side were of opinion to formalize the partnership between both universities by signing the first MoU in the near future.
