KMUTNB Cooperate with Chinese Cloud and Data Center Enterprise to Develop the AI-HPC-Cloud with an Aim to Transform Thailand to a Reginal Hub

On 24 June 2025, at KMUTNB Techno Park, Prof. Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon, Chairman of the KMUTNB University Council Committee, led the KMUTNB executive team to welcome Mr. Xiao Xue, Executive President & Chief Engineer-Inspur Group Co., Ltd. Chairman of the Board – Inspur Cloud Information Technology Co., Ltd., together with a team of senior executives from both the Inspur Cloud Information Technology Co., LTD,  a leading state-owned cloud and data center provider in Chiana, and the One Co.,Ltd., a partner company of Inspur Group.

This visit provided a unique opportunity for the KMUTNB executives and the Chinese delegation to discuss the co-operative development initiative which will focus on developing the academic and research collaborations between KMUTNB and the Chinese industrial sector, especially in the key strategic areas ranging from Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), High-Performance Computing (HPC), as well as the design and production of related hardware. The development of this partnership highlights the university’s commitment to enhance Thailand’s technological competitiveness and to build up a foundation for becoming a digital innovation hub of Southeast Asia. 

On this occasion, the delegation from Inspur Group and Fuse One toured the state-of-the-art laboratories at KMUTNB Techno Park, which showcase the university’s specialization in advanced technologies and research excellence. As KMUTNB has placed a strong focus on research and education in cloud computing and data center, the university aims to foster and further expand international cooperation in this area.
