The German Embassy to Host the EV Hackathon Awarding Ceremony
On 28 September 2022, the EV Hackathon Awarding Ceremony was held at the German Embassy in Bangkok to honor the winning teams from the “Future EV Mobility Creative Contest for Sustainability.” The event was co-organized during 27 – 28 August 2022 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the German Embassy in Bangkok and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) to celebrate the 160th anniversary of the Thai-German diplomatic relations, and it was sponsored by many German and Thai companies. The award ceremony and the reception were attended by the teams of executives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the German Embassy and KMUTNB, together with representatives from sponsoring organizations.
At the awarding ceremony, the congratulatory remarks were delivered by H.E. Mr. Georg Schmidt, German Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. Asi Mamanee, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs and Prof. Dr. Somrerk Chandra-ambhorn, Vice President for Research and Information Technology Development. Then, the awards were presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners. The Winner of EV Hackathon is the ACDC team from Chulalongkorn University, while the 1st runner-up winner is the PorMayJedai team from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkon and the 2nd runner-up winner is the Bangmod team from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. Also, the certificates were presented to the winners of consolation prizes from Chulalongkorn University, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and Kasetsart University.
