From 19–21 August 2026, the International Cooperation Centre organized the “KMUTNB Inter Culture 2026 Program” to welcome and orient new international students joining KMUTNB for the 2026 academic year. The program began on 19 August 2026 at Benjarat Auditorium, Navamindrarajini Building, KMUTNB, Bangkok, and continued on 20 – 21 August 2026 at the Marine Science and Conservation Camp and Sunshine Garden Resort in Chon Buri Province.

The three-day program welcomed international students from 19 countries, including Bhutan, Botswana, Cambodia, Cameroon, China, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Laos, Myanmar, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Romania, Turkey, and Vietnam. Participants included both full-time international students and exchange students across different levels of study. The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Somchai Vetchakam, Advisor to the President for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations, who warmly welcomed the new international students to the KMUTNB community. 

As part of the orientation activities, participants gained essential knowledge about Thai culture, university regulations and practices, and practical guidance for living and studying in Thailand. The program also provided students with an opportunity to explore Thailand’s marine natural resources and environmental conservation. At the Marine Science and Conservation Camp in Chon Buri, participants learned about marine ecosystems and conservation and took part in hands-on group activities to promote coral reef protection. Beyond environmental awareness, these activities encouraged teamwork, cross-cultural interaction, and a shared sense of responsibility for sustainable development.
