KMUTNB Advances Internationalization at Home through “K-Talks: Global Communication Skills Development”
KMUTNB is committed to develop staff and graduates equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to live and work effectively in the 21st century. Recognizing the growing importance of international communication and cross-cultural understanding, KMUTNB places strong emphasis on developing foreign language proficiency. In order to implement this vision, the International Cooperation Centre organized the “K-Talks: Global Communication Skills Development” program, an interactive foreign language training initiative designed to promote language learning and international cultural understanding.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, KMUTNB. The K-Talks program provides students and staff with opportunities to develop Mandarin language skills and strengthen intercultural communication. For 2026, the program focuses on beginner-level Chinese language skills and Taiwanese culture, delivered by experienced and specialized instructors. Participants are introduced to fundamental Chinese language communication while exploring aspects of Taiwanese culture, providing them with both linguistic and cultural perspectives that can be applied in academic, professional, and international settings.
