KMUTNB Welcomes DAAD Delegation to Strengthen Thailand–Germany Academic Cooperation

On 25 August 2026, the KMUTNB executive team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, welcomed a delegation from the DAAD Regional Office in Hanoi and DAAD Thailand to exchange views and explore opportunities for future academic cooperation between KMUTNB and Germany. Since its establishment, KMUTNB has developed strong academic ties with German institutions. In particular, the Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS) has played a significant role in strengthening the university’s longstanding connection with the German academic and technological community.

The DAAD delegation was led by Mr. Felix Wagenfeld, Director of the DAAD Regional Office in Hanoi, together with representatives from DAAD Thailand. Also representing KMUTNB at the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tawiwan Kangsadan, TGGS Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Management, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ampol Likitchatchawankun, TGGS Assistant Dean for International Collaborations and Student Affairs. The visit by the DAAD delegation was seen as a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives, identify potential areas of mutual interest, and explore new avenues for cooperation.
