KMUTNB Welcomes Executive Delegation from Shanghai Topone Data Company and GUOXIN HUATAI Group to Advance International Cooperation in Innovation and Technology

On 18 June 2026, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) warmly welcomed an executive delegation from Shanghai Topone Data Technology Co., Ltd. and GUOXIN HUATAI Group of the People's Republic of China for a visiting and cooperation meeting. The distinguished delegation was led by Mr. Wang Bin, Chairman of Shanghai Topone Data Company, and included Mr. John Chen, Chairman of GUOXIN HUATAI, and Mr. Fennie Yan, Assistant to the President of GUOXIN HUATAI.

The delegation was officially received at the Rajapruek Meeting Room, Navamindra Rajini Building, by Prof. Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon, Chairman of the KMUTNB Council Committee, together with members of the University's executive team. The programme commenced with a welcoming remarks delivered by Prof. Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon. The Chinese delegation also had a fruitful discussion and shared their vision for strengthening academic and industrial partnerships between Thailand and China, especially in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Modern Automotive Technology, and Satellite Technology.

The delegation subsequently visited several of KMUTNB's flagship facilities and innovation centres. The programme included a tour of the KMUTNB Learning and Recreation Residence Center (Student Dormitory), followed by visits to KMUTNB Techno Park, where the delegation explored the Digital Innovation and Technology Learning Center, the Center for Automation System and Robotics (AutoBot), and the Rail Technology and Innovation Center.

The visit also included a tour of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Laboratory at the College of Industrial Technology, showcasing KMUTNB's advancements in sustainable transportation technologies and practical engineering education. The delegation further visited the Science and Technology Research Institute (STRI), including the STRI Central Laboratory and the TFII–Schneider Electric Center of Excellence (COE), where they gained insights into the University's research capabilities and industry-oriented innovation ecosystem. The visit provided an excellent opportunity for both parties to exchange perspectives on emerging technologies, innovation-driven development, and potential areas of collaboration in research, technological advancement, talent development, and industry engagement.
