KMUTNB Welcomes PSHS Students for International STEM Workshop 2026

Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation (ITD) successfully hosted the “International STEM Workshop” from 17 – 30 May 2026 at KMUTNB, Bangkok, Thailand, for the students and delegates from the Philippine Science High School System (PSHS), the Philippines. This two-week program aimed to provide students with interdisciplinary STEM learning experiences, cultural exchange opportunities, and international collaboration activities.

The opening ceremony and orientation session were presided over by Prof. Dr. Saowanit Sukparungsee, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing. Sunantha Sodsee, Dean of ITD. Throughout the program, the participants engaged in a wide range of interactive STEM workshops conducted by KMUTNB faculty members and experts. The activities covered various contemporary topics including Data Visualization with Power BI, Design Thinking for Innovation, Sustainable Energy and Green Technology, Robotics and Intelligent Systems, UX/UI Design, Internet of Things (IoT), and Entrepreneurship for Innovators.

In addition to academic activities, the program included cultural exchange sessions, Thai food cooking activities, a campus tour, and opportunities for interaction between Thai and Filipino students, fostering intercultural understanding and friendship. The International STEM Workshop 2026 reflected KMUTNB’s dedication to developing globally minded future innovators while strengthening academic and cultural ties between Thailand and the Philippines through meaningful educational exchange.
