KMUTNB and Singapore Polytechnic Launch Learning Express 2026 to Drive Community-Based Innovation

During 30 March - 10 April 2026, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), in collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic, Republic of Singapore, successfully organized the “Learning Express (LeX) KMUTNB–SP Collaboration Program 2026” at KMUTNB Rayong Campus. The program provides a dynamic platform for Thai and international students to engage in experiential learning while co-creating innovative solutions to address real-world community challenges.

On 8 April 2026, the closing ceremony and the gallery walk was presided over by Dr. Piya Pitutecha, Chief Executive of Rayong PAO, who delivered a keynote address. The event also attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitirat Thawornsujaritkul, Assistant to the President for KMUTNB Rayong Campus, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Peerapong Pornwongthong, Assistant to the President for Innovation Research and Development. 

From 31 March - 1 April 2026, a total of 60 students from Thailand and Singapore conducted fieldwork in local communities to better understand their ways of life, identify pressing issues, and develop practical, sustainable solutions. The three community sites included Ban Khai Hospital, Ban Saphan Hin Community Enterprise, and Ban Thap Ma Community Stingless Beekeeping Promotion Group.
