KMUTNB and Kyutech Strengthen Collaboration Through the Student Mobility Program
From 6 - 14 March 2026, Department of Production and Robotics Engineering, welcomed a delegation from Kyushu Institute of Technology led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panart Khajornrungruang, Iizuka Campus, Japan, for a series of academic and cultural exchange activities. On March 6, the visiting students were given a campus tour and introduced to the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Production and Robotics Engineering. The session was led by Assist.Prof.Dr. Nopparat Seemuang. nopparat, Head of the Department. In the afternoon, students from both institutions participated in a knowledge-sharing session led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Aran Blattler. The exchange included participants from the Optical Observation for Wet Nanoscale Phenomena Laboratory at Kyushu Institute of Technology.
During 9 - 10 March 2026, students took part in the “Workshop for Future Precision Engineering 2026.” This hands-on workshop brought together Thai and Japanese students to collaborate on various measurement tools and technologies. From 11 – 13 March 2026, students attended a specialized lecture series on “Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology” delivered by Professor Keiichi Kimura, Ph.D. On the afternoon of 13 March 2026, participants visited the National Institute of Metrology (NIMT), where they engaged in discussions on high-precision measurement techniques. The program concluded on 14 March 2026 with a cultural learning experience in Suphan Buri Province. The students explored traditional Thai lifestyles through hands-on participation in sugarcane processing, from harvesting and cleaning to extracting sugarcane juice. The multi-day program not only enhanced academic knowledge and technical skills but also fostered international friendship and cultural understanding between Thai and Japanese students.
