KMUTNB Signs MoU with University of Regina to Advance Thai–Canadian Academic Partnership

On 27 February 2026, at Marriott Hotel Bangkok, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sumet Umchid, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs and Educational Quality Assurance, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pianpool Kamoljitprapa, Dean of Faculty of Applied Science, represented the university at the MoU signing ceremony between KMUTNB and University of Regina, Canada. Also, the ceremony was attended by Dr. Jeff Keshen, President and Vice-Chancellor of University of Regina, and Mr. Ken Cheveldayoff, Saskatchewan Minister of Advanced Education, Canada.

This MoU will formalize the strategic partnership between University of Regina and Thai universities, including King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Srinakharinwirot University and Khon Kaen University, which aims at promoting education and research in various disciplines, as well as strengthening the close ties between Thailand and Canada. For over six decades, KMUTNB has been committed to develop the academic collaborations with international partners across the world. The MoU signing between KMUTNB and University of Regina reflects the university’s constant pursuit of excellence in teaching and high-impact research through the development of international academic partnership.
