KMUTNB Signs MOU with UP and 5 Companies to Advance AI and Innovation Ecosystem in Thailand

On 29 July 2025, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) hosted the MoU signing ceremony to establish the strategic partnership between KMUTNB, University of Phayao (UP), Inspur Cloud Information Technology Co., Ltd., SIAM AI Corporation Co., Ltd., AI Solution Base Co., Ltd., Fuse One CO., LTD., and Green Flow Development Co., Ltd. This academic collaboration agreement signified the joint efforts to promote Thailand’s technological advancement, innovation, and artificial intelligence (AI) development.


The event, held at the at Ratchaphruek Meeting Room, Navamindra Rajini Building, KMUTNB, brought together senior executives from leading Thai educational institutions and forefront companies in Thailand and China. Distinguished representatives included Prof. Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon, KMUTNB’s Chairman of University Council, Prof. Athapol Yaisawang, UP’s Chairman of University Council, Prof. Dr. Thanin Silpcharu, President of KMUTNB, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of UP, Dr. Narongchai Yaisawang, Primary Coordinator, Mr. Jie Zhao, Inspur Cloud Information Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Padej Maythiyanon, Fuse One Co., Ltd., Mr. Rungnirun Tangsurakit, Green Flow Development Co., Ltd, Mr. Ratanaphon Wongnapachant, Siam AI Corporation Co., Lt, Mr. Petch Vijakkhana, AI Solution Base Co., Ltd.


Prof. Dr. Thanin Silpcharu, President of KMUTNB, expressed his honor in welcoming the partner institutions and emphasized the university’s commitment to promoting science and technology in response to evolving economic and societal challenges. Remarkably, this milestone partnership will help fostering innovation, knowledge-sharing, and resource exchange among all parties, while creating a sustainable innovation ecosystem that enhances Thailand’s global competitiveness.
