On 18 March 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somsak Akatimagool, Dean of Faculty of Technical Education and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panarit Sethakul, Advisor to the Dean for Academic and International Affairs led the excutive team to welcome Prof. Dr. Bernard Davat, Director of Groupe de Recherche en Electrotechnique et Electronique de Nancy (GREEN), Université de Lorraine, France. 

Prof. Dr. Bernard Davat had the meeting with the excutive team of the Faculty of Technical Education to dicuss the progress and achievements of the cooperation between KMUTNB and Université de Lorraine on the Double Ph.D. Degree Programme in Electrical and Energy Engineering, which he played a prominent role in the lauching of this program in collaraboration with the Department of Teacher Training in Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Technical Education, KMUTNB. The meeting was also attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Krich Sintanakul, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professional Standards, Asst. Prof. Dr. Panee Noiying, Head of the Department of Teacher Training in Electrical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Phatiphat Thounthong, Prof. Dr. Matheepot Phattanasak, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wattana Kaewmanee.

In addition, on 19 February 2025, Prof. Dr. Bernard Davat paid a courtesy call to Prof. Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon, Chairman of the KMUTNB Council Committee. On the same day, he also attended the KMUTNB’s 66th founding anniversary celebration where he was presented with the 2024 Distinguished Person of The Year Award in recognition of his dedicated supports to the 1st Phase of Thai-French Higher Education and Research Cooperation Projects and the lauchning of the Double Ph.D. Degree Programme Electrical and Energy Engineering by Faculty of Technical Education.
