KMUTNB Hosts Successful 2024 International Capstone Design Project for Smart Mobility with Korean Universities

During 15 – 20 January 2024, the 2024 International Capstone Design Project for Smart Mobility (ICDP), focusing on the theme “Smart Care with Smart Mobility and Smart Collaborative Robots.”  Being organized at KMUTNB Technology Park by the cooperation of KMUTNB and three Korean universities; namely, Halla University, Korea National University of Transportation, Andong National University, the event brought together 10 Korean students and 22 KMUTNB students. The opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Sikan Kulchonchan, Vice President for International Affairs, while the closing ceremony was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr.  Watcharin Po-ngaen, Department of Teacher Training in Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Technical Education. The 6-day program featured workshops and training sessions aimed at enhancing participants' skills in understanding autonomous vehicles and AI in smart mobility, operating autonomous vehicles, and designing smart care solutions with collaborative robots. Also, the participants engaged in cultural exchange activities and visited cultural destinations in Bangkok. KMUTNB has been committed to fostering the students’ academic skills and soft skills by providing them with an opportunity to participate in impactful extracurricular activities.
