On October 6, 2023, a remarkable award presenting ceremony took place at the Berkeley Hotel in Bangkok, as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thana Ananacha, the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), was bestowed with the prestigious FIABCI-Thai Prix d'Excellence Award. The honor was presented to him by Mr. Chulaphan Amornvivat, Deputy Finance Minister of Thailand, in recognition of his remarkable architectural contributions to the Khon Kaen Jockey Club (KKJC) project.

The FIABCI-Thai Prix d'Excellence Award is a highly esteemed award within the international real estate industry. The winner was selected by esteemed members of FIABCI, a global organization dedicated to real estate excellence. The Khon Kaen Jockey Club (KKJC) project, designed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thana Ananacha, is set to be a game-changer for the Northeastern region of Thailand. It aims to promote tourism in this area by attracting both local and international visitors. The KKJC will serve as a center for sports, therapeutic wellness, arts, culture, hospitality, and entertainment in one exceptional venue.
