On 26 October 2023, to mark the 65th founding anniversary of King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), KMUTNB Techno Park hosted the Tech & Inno Talks 2023 and invited Prof. Dr. Juergen Van der List, Former President of Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, Germany, to deliver a thought-provoking lecture on "Applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN)." The lecture drew a diverse audience, including faculty members, researchers, and students from various faculties and institutes in KMUTNB.

This event provided an excellent opportunity for the KMUTNB community to engage with a leading scholar in the field of AI technology and gain fresh perspectives on the subject. As part of his visit, Prof. Dr. Juergen Van der List also visited the laboratories within KMUTNB Techno Park, where he received a warm welcome from Asst. Prof. Preecha Ong-aree, the Director of KMUTNB Techno Park, and the executive team.

Additionally, Prof. Dr. Juergen Van der List paid courtesy visits to Prof. Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon, Chairman of KMUTNB Council, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Suchart Siengchin, KMUTNB President, and Ms. Sikan Kulchonchan, Vice President for International Affairs. Prof. Dr. Juergen Van der List played a crucial role in supporting the establishment and development of the academic cooperation between KMUTNB and Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and he steadfastly was committed to strengthen and promote the close academic partnership between the two universities for over many years.
