KMUTNB Partners with MoU with Microsoft to Empower Digital Transformation in Higher Education

On 23 March 2022, the MoU signing ceremony between KMUTNB and Microsoft (Thailand) Ltd. took place. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Somrerk Chandra-ambhorn, Vice President for Research and Information Technology Development, and Mr. Dhanawat Suthumpun, Managing Director of Microsoft Thailand, in the presence of KMUTNB’s representative, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawaporn Wisitpongphan, Assistant to the President for Research Affairs and Information Technology, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chatchan Thongjub, Director ofInstitute for Technical Education Development, Mr. Vincent Quah, Industry Lead for Education for the APAC region, Ms. Sirinuch Sararuch, Education Lead of Microsoft Thailand ,and the team of managers of Microsoft Asia Pacific. As the double disruption of automation and pandemic took place, the need for digital skills development is accelerating. The strategic alliance between KMUTNB and Microsoft (Thailand) Ltd., therefore, is aimed at managing digital transition and empowering digital transformation in higher education. In this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panita Wanpiroon, Head of Centre for Technology and Innovation Management, KMUTNB, and Mr. Noppadol Rattanawisadrat, Customer Success Manager of Microsoft (Thailand) Ltd., gave a presentation on the successful outcomes of the collaborative project entitled “Digital Learning Platform for Next Normal education.”
