On 6 August 2026, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) warmly welcomed a distinguished delegation from Taiwan to strengthen academic partnerships and explore new opportunities for research collaboration, innovation, and international engagement.

The delegation was led by Chair Professor Fong-Chin Su, Executive Director of the Taiwan–Thailand Science and Technology Cooperation Center (TTSTC) at National Cheng Kung University and former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of Taiwan. Representatives from National Cheng Kung University, National Chung Hsing University, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, and the National Institutes of Applied Research (NIAR) also participated in the visit.

The delegates were warmly welcomed by the KMUTNB executive team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, KMUTNB’s Vice President for International Affairs. For over years, KMUTNB has developed the long-standing and productive relationships with Taiwanese universities and research institutions. This visit also served as a great opportunity for all parties to discuss the potential for collaboration, ranging from joint research, academic exchanges, talent development, and other strategic initiatives that contribute to mutual growth and global impact.
