The program brought together 30 SP students and 30 KMUTNB students to engage in a journey of creativity and hands-on problem-solving. The Learning Express (LeX) Program has been organized by the collaboration of the two institutions in 2018, 2019, 2023, 2024, 2025. This continuity underscores the shared vision of KMUTNB and SP to equip students with the skills and mindset necessary to address real-world challenges and contribute positively to society.

On 1 April 2025, the opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Peerasak Sarikul, Vice President for KMUTNB Prachinburi Campus, and was attended by the executive team of KMUTNB Prachinburi Campus. Over the two weeks, participants worked collaboratively and utilized design thinking methods to create prototypes aimed at solving practical challenges faced by local communities. After visiting the Noen Hom District for three days and interviewing the villagers, the students brainstormed to develop solutions to pressing issues of the local communities and created prototypes which was displayed to the public at the exhibition booths in the closing ceremony.

On 9 April 2025, the LeX Program 2025 Gallery Walk and Closing Ceremony took place at the Villa Vichalai Hotel, KMUTNB Prachinburi Campus. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, delivered a closing remarks and led university executives and local villagers to visit the exhibition booths, where student-developed prototypes were showcased. The exhibition displayed a range of innovative ideas and solutions, including marketing strategies for herbal products, technological innovations for mushroom farming, and toffee made from local fruits. This aimed to add value to local products and address challenges faced by small local enterprises. Also, this program not only helped the students developing academic skills but also enhancing their empathy abilities, interpersonal skills, teamwork skills and innovative thinking.

One of the highlights of the program was the involvement of the Noen Hom village community, whose members led by Mr. Sampan Jampathong, Head of Noen Hom Village, and Miss Wandee Mesathorn, Director of the Na Prue District’s Nursery, actively participated in the interviewing and prototype presentations. Looking ahead, the success of the 2025 LeX program laid a strong foundation for future collaborations between the KMUTNB and SP, as well as strengthened the community engagement.
