Headline: Strengthening International Ties: KMUTNB Hosts Student Exchange Program with Kyushu Institute of Technology

During September 24–30, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering at KMUTNB welcomed 10 students from Kyushu Institute of Technology for a vibrant student exchange program. This initiative aims to enhance relationships between Kyutech students and those from the Production & Robotics Engineering Department, who will participate in the upcoming 2024 Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Class.

Throughout the week, the Kyutech students engaged in a variety of cultural and academic activities, including campus tours, visits to historical sites, and a trip to Yaskawa Electric (Thailand) Co. Ltd. They also participated in a Thai cooking class, learned traditional Thai boxing, and explored Thai music and performance. Additionally, workshops focused on arm control robotics, 3D design software, and 3D printing enriched their experience.

The PBL Class, which will be conducted online, will allow KMUTNB and Kyutech students to collaborate on designing and building a robot for specific instructor-assigned challenges. In January 2025, the KMUTNB students will travel to Japan, bringing their robot to compete alongside their Kyutech counterparts. This exchange program is proudly sponsored by the Sakura Science Program of the Japanese Government, reinforcing international cooperation in education and technology.
