On 9 July 2024, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed by King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) at the Ratchapruek Meeting Room, Navamindra Rajini Building. Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Suchart Siengchin presided over the ceremony, with Prof. Dr. Somrerk Chandra-ambhorn representing KMUTNB and Prof. Dr. Huang Zhiqiu representing NUAA. The event was attended by executive teams from both universities. Following the MoA signing, the opening ceremony of the Sino-Thai Joint-Research and Innovation Center (STRIC) took place on the 5th Floor of the TGGS Building. This new international joint laboratory will focus on the research and development in the area of Surface Engineering, Micro Gear Forming Technology, Automotive Crash and Safety Analysis, High Strength Steel Stamping Process, and Pacific Precision Forging Light Alloy Extrusion Molding. This collaboration underscores the commitment of both universities to advancing global research and technological innovation.
