KMUTNB Hosts International Staff Linkup 2024 to Enhance International Collaboration and Mobility
The International Cooperation Centre, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), successfully conducted the KMUTNB International Staff Linkup 2024, aimed at enhancing collaboration for staff and student mobility. The event was held in two phases: on 16 July 2024 for KMUTNB staff and on 23 July 2024 for international participants. Over 30 staff members from various faculties and institutes within KMUTNB, alongside representatives from partner universities worldwide, participated in the program.
International partners included Halla University (South Korea), Chengdu Technological University (P.R. China), Davao del Norte State College (Philippines), National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (Taiwan), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (Indonesia), University of Danang (Vietnam), Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (Vietnam), Leibniz Universität Hannover (Germany), and Chanakya University (India).
On 16 July 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Dean of the International College, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rattanakorn Phadungthin, Associate Dean for International and Special Affairs, presented key initiatives, including the launch of the International College’s dual degree program and the College of Industrial Technology’s student mobility program.
The second phase on 23 July 2024 featured prominent speakers such as Prof. Ravikant Ranjan, Associate Director of Global Engagement at Chanakya University, India. Prof. Ranjan’s talk on "Establishing a Global Engagement Office and Dual Degree Programs" provided valuable insights into enhancing strategic initiatives. Additionally, Ms. Cahyani Satiya Pratiwi, Office Manager of Global Engagement at ITS, shared strategies on "Enhancing Two-sided and Interlinkage Benefits between International Networking and Erasmus Cooperation."
This event reaffirms KMUTNB’s dedication to advancing internationalization through strengthened staff and student mobility. The program facilitated meaningful exchanges and fostered new partnerships for future collaboration.
