KMUTNB and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Launch Sino-Thai Joint-Research and Innovation Center

On 9 July 2024,at Ratchaphruek Meeting Room, Navamindra Rajini Building, Prof. Dr. -Ing. habil. Suchart Siengchin, President of KMUTNB, presided over the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between KMUTNB and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). Representing KMUTNB, Prof. Dr. Somrerk Chandra-ambhorn, Vice President for Research and Information Technology Development, and from NUAA, Prof. Dr. HUANG Zhiqiu, Vice President, signed the agreement. 


After the MoA signing ceremony, the executive teams of KMUTNB and NUAA attended the opening ceremony of the Sino-Thai Joint-Research and Innovation Center (STRIC) at 5th Floor, TGGS Building. This center is dedicated to collaborative research in advanced manufacturing, focusing on Surface Engineering, High Precision Metal Forming Process, Safety and Automotive Crash Analysis. The initiative emphasized both universities' commitment to advancing technologies in the electric vehicle and aerospace industries. This MoA lays the groundwork for the facilitation of knowledge exchange and joint research efforts, which will promote technological advancements for the global community's benefit. Furthermore, this academic alliance will contribute to strengthen Thailand-China relations, particularly in electric vehicle and aerospace engineering.
