On 29 June 2024, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Suchart Siengchin, President of KMUTNB, represented the university to sign the MoU with BYD CO., LTD. and Henan Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College, represented by Mr. Xun Meng, Deputy General Manager of BYD, and Mr. Yao Yong, Secretary of HMEVC Party Committee. This MoU partnership was aimed to develop the curriculum and integrate the education in the vocational level to the higher education level. Following upon the signing  of this MoU, the Bachelor of Technology Program om Modern Automative Technology and Automation System will be offered to the eligible HMEVC students by KMUTNB Technopark. The event was also attended by the team of KMUTNB executives, the delegates from BYD and HMEVC. In the future, the cooperation will be also extended to other areas, such as the joint research project, the development of innovation, the organizaing of conference and seminar, the exchange of student and staff. These efforts aim to not only enhance education and industry partnerships between the three parties for mutual benefit and advancement, but also stregthen the academic bound and people-to-people ties between Thailand and China. Together, KMUTNB, BYD CO., LTD., and Henan Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College will work together to shape the future of automotive technology and automation systems education.
