KMUTNB and NFU Strengthen Academic Partnership and Cultural Exchange


During 2 - 9 April 2024, the 2024 Forward Together: KMUTNB-NFU Research Partnership and Cross Cultural Exchange (KMUTNB-NFU RC2) program was held by the cooperation between KMUTNB and National Formosa University (NFU), Taiwan, at KMUTNB Rayong Campus. This collaborative initiative is a part of activities under the MoU, which was signed on 30 August 2023. The program brought together 46 students from KMUTNB and NFU, marking another chapter in the ongoing partnership between the two institutions. The opening ceremony was graced with the presence of Prof. Wen-Chi Lu, Vice President of NFU for International Relations, and Prof. Dr. Thanin Silcharu, Vice President for KMUTNB Rayong Campus. Throughout the program, participants were engaged in various activities aimed at promoting cultural exchange. In addition to workshops focusing on research writing, students had the opportunity to explore laboratories at Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Science, Energy and Environment, and Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Moreover, the students made excursions to explore the PTT Botanical Garden and Supattra Fruit Garden in Rayong Province, and Wat Arun Temple in Bangkok. The success of the KMUTNB-NFU RC2 program serves as a testament to the commitment of both universities to fostering academic excellence and cross-cultural understanding.
