International Students at KMUTNB Immerse in Cultural Exchange in the Inter Culture 2023 Program

The "Inter Culture 2023: International Cultural Exchange and English Day" event was held from 17 – 19 August 2023 by International Cooperation Centre, Office of the President, KMUTNB.  This is a remarkable platform for new international students to embrace diverse cultures and for Thai students to enhance their language skills. The three-day program aimed to welcome and integrate new international students into the KMUTNB community. This program is hosted in line with the university’s policies to create a global community within the university and to promote unity in diversity.

The program began on 17 August 2023 at the Central Library of KMUTNB Bangkok, where the opening ceremony was presided over by Ms. Sikan Kulchonchan, Vice President for International Affairs. The orientation session and activity in the first day aim to make the students become familiar with Thai culture, do's and don'ts in Thailand, and visa-related information. 

On the second day, at Villa Vichalai Hotel, KMUTNB Prachinburi Campus, the participants were welcomed by Asst. Dr. Supisa Phumdej, Head of the Department of Business Administration in Tourism and Hospitality, Faculty of Business Administration and Service. Then, they attended the Cultural Exchange & Ice Breaking Games organized by of the student organizers from the Faculty of Business Administration and Service Industry. These activities aimed to enable the participants from various countries across the world to mingle into cultural diversity and to foster cultural appreciation. On the final day, the participants made an excursion to Khun Dan Prakanchon Dam in Nakhon Nayok Province.
