The New KMUTNB International Students to Attend the Inter-Culture 2022 Program


During 17 – 19 August 2022, International Cooperation Centre, Office of the President, organized the Inter-Culture 2022 Program, which is a hybrid program, consisting an online section and onsite section at KMUTNB Rayong Campus. The Inter-Culture Program is organized annually to give KMUTNB international students an orientation and provide an opportunity for them to learn about Thai culture, to make friend and exchange views with people from different cultures. In 2022, the program was participated by the international students from Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, Lao, Cambodia, Germany, Philippines, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, France, Ukraine. In the first part of the program, the international students will be informed about general information about Thailand and KMUTNB, and also the application for Thai visa. The virtual opening ceremony was presided by Ms. Sikan Kulchonchan, Vice President for International. On 18 August 2022, the international students visited KMUTNB Rayong Campus to do activities with Thai students at Conference Room, Anekprasong Buiding. The welcome remark was delivered by Asst. Prof. Thitirat Thavornsujarit. They also made an excursion to Thung Prong Thong, a popular place for mangrove ecotourism, guided and supported by Thai students majoring in Business Administration. The Inter-Culture 2022 Program aims to enable the participants to expand your worldview and develop cross-cultural awareness. This will promote the students’ abilities to adapt easily to Thai culture and live happily in Thailand.
