KMUTNB to Organize the “Leadership Camp 2022: Going Global”

During 27 – 30 June 2022, the “KMUTNB Leadership Camp 2022: Going Global” was held by International Cooperation Centre, Office of the President. The opening ceremony was virtually presided by Ms. Sikan Kulchonchan, Vice President for International Affairs. This program was organized with an aim to provide a platform for the students to improve English communication skills, leadership skills and also to deepen their knowledge and understanding in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The keynote lectures were delivered by Ms. Janice Leong, the Regional Director of Humanitarian Affairs Asia, and Dr. Mariano Carrera, a faculty member of International College, KMUTNB. In addition, the entire program was moderated by Dr. Venus Dennen Claver and Dr. Aratchaphorn Pensiri, KMUTNB lecturers. In this program, the students were given lectures about leadership and they exchanged ideas with their team members and brainstormed to make a presentation about the topic related to U.N.’s sustainable development goals. The KMUTNB students discussed about the UN’s SDGs and its applications in each country with the participants from partner universities, including National Kaohsiung university of science and technology, Taiwan, Davao del Norte State College and University of St. La Salle, Philippines, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology and Musamus University, Indonesia, Chengdu Technological University, China, University Putra Malaysia, Malaysia, and Myanmar students from Mae Fah Luang University.
