KMUTNB’s International Students to Be Selected to Participate the International Youth Representatives in Experiencing the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (IYSEP 2022)

During 19 – 25 June 2022, the three representatives of KMUTNB’s international students were selected to participate the International Youth Representatives in Experiencing the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (IYSEP 2022) which was organized by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Prime Minister’s Office. The program was held in Bangkok, Pathum Thani Province, the Eastern Region of Thailand in Chachoengsao and Prachin Buri Province. The selected representatives include Ms. Kuenzang,  International College, Ms. Pema Wangmo, Ms. Karma Deki, Faculty of Engineering. In this program, the participants attended series of lecture on the SEP concept given by officers of the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB), such as a keynote lecture on “How to Apply the SEP concept to the Creative Economy.” Also, they attended the group workshop on integrating the SEP concept in different types of businesses. The participants, in addition, had a chance to take a study trip to the Museum of Agriculture, Pathum Thani Province, Khao Hin Sorn Royal Development Study Centre (Khao Hin Sorn RDSC), Chachoengsao Province. They participated in hands-on field group activities on royal-initiated development works in Khoa Hin Sorn RDSC and at Naruebodindrachinta Reservoir.  The program also provided a chance for the attendees to do a volunteer activity for restoring Bang Pakong headwaters.
