KMUTNB and NFU Strengthen Ties Through Research Partnership and Cross-Cultural Exchange Program

From 28 April to 1 May 2026, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), in collaboration with National Formosa University (NFU), Taiwan, successfully hosted the “KMUTNB–NFU Research Partnership and Cross-Cultural Exchange Program (Part 1)” at KMUTNB Rayong Campus. The program brought together 28 students from NFU and 30 students from various faculties at KMUTNB Rayong Campus, including the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Science, Energy and Environment, and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

On 28 April 2026, participants were warmly welcomed at the opening ceremony by the KMUTNB Rayong Campus executive team, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitirat Thawornsujaritkul, Assistant to the President for KMUTNB Rayong Campus, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sunee Wattanakomol, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panupong Jaiban, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Energy and Environment. The program concluded on 1 May 2026 with a closing ceremony presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs of KMUTNB, and Prof. Dr. Li-Wei Chen, Vice President of NFU.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in research workshops covering key areas such as energy, innovation, and sustainable development. The event also featured hands-on DIY workshops that provided practical learning experiences, as well as cultural excursions in Pattaya. Over the past six years, KMUTNB and NFU have developed a strong and enduring partnership, particularly in the area of student mobility. This program marks another significant milestone in further strengthening the long-standing relationship between the two institutions.
