KMUTNB Students Join Prestigious 2024 HIP Halla International Pioneer Program in Korea

From 27 June – 19 July 2024, KMUTNB nominated the group of 5 students from Faculty of Engineering, International College, Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation, and Faculty of Engineering, to participate the 2024 HIP Halla International Pioneer Program. This program was hosted by Halla University to commemorate its 30th anniversary in 2025. Halla University, recognized for its innovative technological advancements, has been significantly supported by HL Group, a key partner in its growth. To commemorate this milestone, Halla University and HL Group invited excellent students from partner universities around the world to attend the 2024 HIP Halla International Pioneer Program. 

This program aimed at providing its participants a unique opportunity to gain an insight into Korean language, culture, economy, and technology. Participants will gain a range of valuable experiences designed to enhance their learning and problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, by deepening their understanding of Korea, the participant will be able to contribute to promoting friendship and cooperation on technological development between their home countries and Korea in the future. The activities being offered in the program ranged from Korean language courses, field trips to HL Global R&D center, Samyang foods, HL Klemove, etc., special lecture on Korean economic development history, Tae Kwon Do / Korean cooking classes.

Also, during 3 - 11 July 2024, Ms. Phimvalanch Moosikaphan, Director of International Cooperation Centre, and Mr. Parit Phanichakarn, Foreign Relations Officer, visited Halla University to have a meeting on the ongoing cooperation on student mobility program and further collaborative opportunities. KMUTNB and Halla University have developed a strong cooperation on the student exchange and annually co-organize the International Capstone Design Project for Smart Mobility (ICDP).
