Qingdao University of Science and Technology Explores New Research Collaborations with KMUTNB

On 15 December 2023, a delegation from Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST), China, embarked on a fruitful visit to King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB). The distinguished delegation, comprising Prof. SHEN Wenqing, Deputy Secretary (Vice President for International Affairs), Assoc. Prof. ZHANG Shuhai, Dean of International College, Prof. Yan Yehai, Dean of Polymer Science and Engineering College, Prof. DU Junwei, Deputy Dean of Data Science College, Dr. LIN Zhiquan, Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Prof. SHI Chenxu, Deputy Dean of Communication College, and Ms. YANG E. They engaged in a comprehensive discussion with KMUTNB executives to explore collaborative initiatives in research. As part of their visit, the delegation also had the opportunity to tour laboratories at the Science and Technology Research Institute (STRI), gaining insights into the cutting-edge research facilities at KMUTNB.


Representing KMUTNB were key figures, including Prof. Dr. Somrerk Chandra-ambhorn, Vice President for Research and Information Technology Development, Ms. Sikan Kulchonchan, Vice President for International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing. Sunantha Sodsee, Dean of Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rungsima Yeetsorn, Deputy Director for Administration and Innovation Management, STRI. KMUTNB and QUST established their MoU partnership in 2013, and this visit reflected the enduring commitment to collaboration between the two universities. It also a significant step forward in strengthening ties and exploring new joint academic and research endeavors.
