KMUTNB Welcomes Delegates from Germany and Norway to Discuss Academic Cooperation

On 21 March 2023, Ms. Sikan Kulchonchan, Vice President for International Affairs, warmly welcomed two distinguished visitors to KMUTNB to discuss academic cooperation, including Prof. Dr. Oliver Michler from Dresden University of Technology, Germany and Prof. Dr. Marcel Köhler from the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences at Nord University.

During their visit, the delegates met with KMUTNB representatives to discuss potential collaborations. Prof. Dr. Oliver Michler had a meeting with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nisai Fuengwarodsakul, the Dean of the Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS), and a team of TGGS researchers to explore mutual interests and potential academic cooperation. The meeting was held at the TGGS Meeting Room, TGGS Building.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Marcel Köhler met with Asst. Prof. Dr. Peerapong Pornwongthong, KMUTNB Assistant to the President for Research and Innovation Development, and representatives from the Faculty of Nursing at Saint Louis College, Thailand. The meeting was held at the ICC Meeting Room, located on the 10th floor of the President Building.

The meetings proved to be fruitful as the discussions were constructive and demonstrated the strong commitment of KMUTNB and its partners to fostering academic excellence and promoting international cooperation. Overall, the visit by Prof. Dr. Oliver Michler and Prof. Dr. Marcel Köhler was a great success, and KMUTNB looks forward to furthering collaborations with these esteemed institutions.
