The Virtual MOU Signing Ceremony Between Université de Lorraine and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok

On 23 September 2021, the virtual MOU signing ceremony between Université de Lorraine (UL), France, and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) was held. The event was honored by the presence of H.E. Mr. Thierry Mathou, the French Ambassador to Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, the Thai Ambassador to France, who delivered congratulatory remarks to all working teams related to the collaborative activities between KMUTNB and UL. At this event, Prof. Dr. Karl Tombre, UL’s Vice President for European and International Strategy, reported the background of the academic collaboration between both universities; then, Prof. Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon, Chairman of KMUTNB Council, delivered his remark, followed by the presentation of the collaborative outcomes by Prof. Noureddine TAKORABET, Director of GREEN Laboratory, and Prof. Dr. habil. Phatiphat Thounthong, Director of RERC and Co-ordinator of EE-TFRC. The event was concluded by remarks of Prof. Dr. Pierre Mutzenhart, UL President, and Prof. Dr. -Ing. habil. Suchart Siengchin, KMUTNB President. Over 30 years, the academic collaboration between KMUTNB and UL has flourished, and it yielded fruitful outcomes in many areas, such as the development of human resources and the joint research projects. The signing of this latest MOU will be a milestone of the long-term collaboration between KMUTB and UL, and it will contribute to strengthen the collaboration between both universities.
