KMUTNB Hosts 2025 Leadership Camp to Foster Technopreneur Skills Among Global Students
From 10 – 14 October 2025, KMUTNB successfully hosted the 2025 KMUTNB Leadership Camp: “Technopreneur Skills for Global Innovators,” which was participated by 21 students from KMUTNB and 32 students from 8 partner universities across Asia and Africa, including Chengdu Technological University (China), Saint Mary's University (Philippines), Durban University of Technology (South Africa), J. F. Oberlin University (Japan), Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (Vietnam), National Formosa University (Taiwan), Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, and Universitas Logistik dan Bisnis Internasional (Indonesia).
On 10 October 2025, the opening ceremony was highlighted by welcoming remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs and a greeting from Asst. Prof. Dr. Peerapong Pornwongthong, Assistant to the President for Research and Innovation Development. The event also included a leadership talk by Assoc. Prof. Benjawan Thumthanaruk titled “An Experience in Driving Innovation to Future Industry.” Besides academic sessions, students took part in cultural excursions to key educational sites, including the Investory Investment Discovery Museum, Museum Siam, the Institute of Marine Science, and Bangsaen Beach in Chonburi Province.
Recognizing the crucial role of combining technological knowledge with entrepreneurial vision, KMUTNB launched this leadership camp to nurture future-ready graduates. Through this program, the participants engaged in series of workshops and interactive activities designed to promote their understanding in the principles of technopreneurship, which will enhance their abilities to develop unique products and services that address contemporary challenges and meet evolving market demands.
