On 19 November 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing Sunantha Sodsee, Dean of Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Siranee Nuchitprasitchai, Chair of Bachelor of Science Program in Informatics for Digital Economy (International Program), visited Guilin University of Technology (GUT), China. The delegates from KMUTNB represented the university at the MoU signing ceremony to formalize the academic cooperation between KMUTNB and GUT, which aims at strengthening long-term collaboration and academic exchange. 

Also, the KMUTNB delegates had a fruitful cooperation meeting with the team of GUT executive, led by Prof. Dr. YU Xiaohui, Acting Dean of School of Civil Engineering, and Ms. WAN Weiye, Deputy Dean of College of International Education and Deputy Director of International Office. 

The discussion concentrated on the potential for future initiatives, ranging from the organizing of academic seminars, research visits, student exchange programs, joint research projects. This MoU reflects KMUTNB’s and GUT’s shared vision to expand international cooperation, enhance academic excellence, and create new opportunities for their students, researchers, and faculty members.
