KMUTNB Vice President Represents University at Key International Education Forums in the UK
From 28 to 30 October 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, attended the Going Global 2025 conference at the QEII Conference Centre in London. Organized by the British Council, this forum brought together global leaders in international education to share insights, foster collaborations, and shape the future of higher education.
Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong represented KMUTNB at the Thai–UK University President Symposium from 1 to 4 November 2025. This event was also organized by the British Council and Universities UK International (UUKi) under the theme of “Roundtable Discussion on Thai–UK Higher Education Partnerships: Opportunities and Challenges” with a focus on enhancing Thai-UK higher education partnerships.
During the symposium, Dr. Punpermsak Aruni, Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of MHESI, stressed the success of ongoing Thai-UK collaborations, such as the Newton Fund, Transnational Education (TNE) and the Thai-UK World-Class University Consortium. Looking to the future, the potential for further cooperation lied on the research and innovation collaboration, the future workforce development and the leadership and policy alignment. Also, he proposed the establishment of a “Thai–UK Higher Education Strategic Leadership / President Forum” to further strengthen these partnerships through annual summits, thematic working groups, and an expanded membership network. This initiative will drive innovation and leadership across the Thai-UK higher education sector.
