KMUTNB Expands Academic Cooperation Through ASEA-UNINET Network

During 8 – 12 September 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, and Ms. Phimvalanch Moosikaphan, Director of International Cooperation Centre, attended the ASEA-UNINET Plenary Meeting held in Brescia, Italy. The meeting brought together universities from across Europe and ASEAN under the theme “For Peaceful and Sustainable Development.”

In addition to the network’s elections at the plenary meeting, the KMUTNB delegates participated in the working groups addressing key global challenges and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration in areas such as Digital Humanism and Arts in Academia, Ocean Sciences and Climate Change, Renewable Energy, Global Health and Sustainable Food Production, and Ecological Economics and the Bioeconomy. These sessions emphasized the crucial role of universities in advancing knowledge, innovation, and international partnerships to tackle today’s complex global issues, ranging from climate change, food security and digital transformation.
