On 23 July 2025, KMUTNB, in collaboration with the Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), officially launched the Center of Excellence in Electrochemistry & Corrosion Technology (CoE-ECT) at the Thai-French Innovation Institute (TFII). The center aims to become a regional leader in corrosion research, testing, and innovation development. The opening ceremony was attended by key figures including Prof. Dr. Komgrit Leksakul from TSRI, and Prof. Dr. Somrerk Chandra-ambhorn from KMUTNB, both emphasizing the importance of this collaboration in advancing corrosion technology.
