KMUTNB Hosts Chengdu Technological University Delegates to Strengthen Academic Ties
On 25 September 2025, Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, welcomed a delegation from Chengdu Technological University (CDTU), China, led by Prof. Li Chengda, Vice President of CDTU. The delegation participated in a cooperation meeting with KMUTNB's executive team to discuss expanding their longstanding academic partnership. The KMUTNB executives attending the meeting included Asst. Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing. Sunantha Sodsee, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Achareeya Robkit, Dean of the International College, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sanjay Mavinkere Rangappa, Advisor for International University Development, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siranee Nuchitprasitchai and Asst. Prof. Dr. Pudsadee Boonrawd, Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation.
The collaboration between KMUTNB and CDTU began in 2022 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, both universities successfully maintained a strong virtual partnership, hosting several online events. CDTU students have also participated in leadership camps at KMUTNB in 2024 and 2025, contributing to a rich cultural exchange and deepening the relationship between the institutions. This visit reaffirms both universities’ shared commitment to fostering educational excellence and expanding academic cooperation, with the promise of more joint initiatives in the future.
