KMUTNB Students Join Cross-Cultural Research Exchange at National Formosa University, Taiwan
From 3 – 8 August 2025, 21 students from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) participated in the 2025 Forward Together: NFU-KMUTNB Research Partnership and Cross-Cultural Exchange (NFU-KMUTNB RC2) at National Formosa University (NFU), Taiwan.
The student participants represented a diverse range of faculties, including the Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Science, Energy and Environment (Rayong Campus), International College, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Business and Industrial Development (Bangkok Campus).
The program officially opened with a ceremony attended by executives from both universities. The KMUTNB delegation was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thitirat Thawornsujaritkul, Assistant to the President for KMUTNB Rayong Campus. They were warmly welcomed by the NFU executive team, including Prof. Dr. Shinn-Liang Chang, NFU President, Prof. Dr. Hsu-Chih Cheng, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Cheng-Ta Chung, Director of the Language Teaching Center, and Prof. Dr. Shou-Yin Yang, Dean of the Office of International Affairs.
Throughout the week, participants engaged in a series of hands-on research workshops and visited cutting-edge research facilities, such as the Mechatronics and Intelligent Automation Lab, Aviation Maintenance Training Center (AMTC), and the Department of Multimedia Design and Industrial Management. Beyond academic activities, students experienced Taiwanese culture firsthand through visits to significant cultural and historical landmarks.
This collaborative exchange marks an important milestone in strengthening trilateral cooperation among KMUTNB, National Formosa University, and Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, reflecting a shared commitment to international academic and cultural collaboration.
