2025 APEC Youth STEM Conference & Best Practice Workshop on Youth STEM Capacity-building

During 6 - 8 August 2025, Assist. Prof. Dr. Siranee Nuchitprasitchai, Chair of the Bachelor of Science Program in Informatics for Digital Economy (International Program), Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation, and Committee Member of the KMUTNB STEM Center, attended the 2025 APEC Youth STEM Conference & Best Practice Workshop on Youth STEM Capacity-building. The event was held at the Korea Science Academy of KAIST, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), being joined by participants across the world, including Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, China, Chile, Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Thailand, United States, Vietnam.


At the conference, Assist. Prof. Dr. Siranee Nuchitprasitchai shared best practices from the STEM KMUTNB Center, a leading hub driving Thailand’s STEM education ecosystem through inclusive learning, innovation, commercialization, and cross-cultural collaboration. The Center connects students, university lecturers, schoolteachers, and industry professionals to co-create learning experiences grounded in real-world challenges, while the center also serves as a powerful bridge between education, industry, and global academia—empowering the next generation of thinkers, makers, and innovators.
