Post-Seismic Safety and Usability of Buildings on Campus

Following the occurrence of the powerful earthquake on March 28, 2025, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) places utmost importance on the safety of staff members and students. In this regard, professionals with expertise in civil engineering were requested to conduct thorough building inspections on cracks and warning signs of structural damage that may arise in the buildings and facilities inside the university’s main campus.

The structural integrity inspection and usability assessment have been completed. As results, all building structures remain strong and stable, with satisfying workplace safety and security. Therefore, staff members and students are allowed to return to their regular activities within building areas from Monday, March 31, 2025 onwards.

Staying committed to prioritizing the safety of all community members, we will continue to take safety measures, including regular structural inspections and maintenance for fostering a safe and positive environment among students, staff and the campus community.
