KMUTNB PRE Students and Faculty Participate in the Educational Innovation camp at Ma Chung University in Indonesia

Six students and two faculty members from the Department of Production and Robotics Engineering, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), proudly represented the university in the Educational Innovation camp at Ma Chung University (UMC), Indonesia. The program took place in Malang city, Indonesia, from January 12 to 19, 2025, with full support from the UMC, a prestigious initiative promoting academic and cultural collaboration between Indonesia and international institutions.

The delegation, led by Dr. Nopparat Seemuang and Dr. Watcharin Tangsuksant, participated in a week-long program hosted by Ma Chung University. This camp focused on the fostering innovation, teamwork and cultural exchange. The participants came from many countries such as Indonesia, Cambodia, Chinese and Thai. These international students had the opportunity to learn in various topics and skills in term of technology, production and business, traditional culture etc., learning from the expert lecturers of UMC and staff.

Students visited many landmarks in Malang for learning the cultures and innovation such as Engan Kiong (the one of oldest Chinese Temple), Candi Badut (ancient kingdom), Milk factory etc. Moreover, they learned the painting of Malang mask and Batik fabric via the excited workshops. The last day of the camp, KMUTNB and international students enjoyed showing their national performances.  The atmosphere in this camp was full of knowledge, fun and friendship.

Beyond the camp activities, Dr. Nopparat and Dr. Watcharin horned to attend the meeting with Prof. Dr. Ir. Stefanus Yufra Menahen Taneo, the Rector of UMC, in order to discuss about the future academic cooperation between KMUTNB and UMC such as the exchange of students and researchers, 3+1 curriculum development, co-organizing of the international conference etc.

“This is a first time of us to visit Ma Chung University. We are very impressed for your warm hospitality. We hope that this is also the first and important step of KMUTNB and Ma Chung for doing the many future cooperations” said Dr. Nopparat Seemuang, representing the KMUTNB faculty.

This camp exemplifies the university’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and preparing students for global opportunities.
