Institute of Science Tokyo’s Professor Visits KMUTNB to Expand Research and Education Collaboration
At Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hiroshige Kikura from Laboratory for Zero-Carbon Energy, Institute of Science Tokyo, was warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Amornphun Phunopas, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, Asst. Prof. Tanaporn Rojhirunsakool, Assistant Dean for International Affair and Public Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wittaya Koodtalang, Assistant Dean for Academic Promotions, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chirdpong Deelertpaiboon, Head of the Department of Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wongsakorn Wongsaroge.The delegate from Institute of Science Tokyo had a meeting with the KMUTNB side to discuss the progress of ongoing cooperative activities.
Then, Prof. Dr. Hiroshige Kikura visited the Centre of Excellence in Instrumentation Technology and Automation located at KMUTNB Prachinburi Campus. The tour was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natee Thong-Un and Dr. Weerachon Treenuson from Office of Atoms for Peace, while one key stop was the Ultrasonic Velocity Profiler Technology Laboratory. After the laboratory tour, the cooperation meeting was held and the discussions centred around the summary of research outcomes under the cooperation, the potential for scaling cooperation on student mobility in the field of Measurement and Instrumentation Technology, the renewal of the MoU between the two institutions and the research instruments for the ongoing research cooperation in the fields of Ultrasonic Velocity Profiler in Fluid Engineering and Ultrasonic Measurement in Agriculture.
