KMUTNB Presents Global Education Opportunities at Myanmar’s 9th Thailand Education Fair
On 24 May 2025, the executive team from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) participated in the 9th Thailand Education Fair Myanmar, held at the Novotel Hotel in Yangon. The event was organized by the Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand (AMAUT), with support from the Royal Thai Embassy.
Representing KMUTNB at the fair were key executives, including Prof. Dr. Saowanit Sukparungsee, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pichet Sriyanyong, Vice President for International Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Sunantha Sodsee, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Tanaporn Rojhirunsakool, Assistant Dean of Faculty of Engineering. The team engaged with prospective Myanmar students at the KMUTNB booth, promoting the university’s academic programs and international opportunities.
The fair opened with welcome remarks from Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, followed by an opening address by Mr. U Moe Myint Kyaw, President of AMAUT. The event attracted over 966 participants, reflecting Myanmar students' strong interest in pursuing higher education abroad. Especially, Thailand remains one of the top choices for Myanmar students, known for its high-quality education, internationally recognized qualifications, and diverse available academic program.
